Sew your own Basket at home with this Making Kit! The Kit includes everything you need to make your own high quality project bag/basket at home including a beautiful printed fabric for the pockets. It has six large outside pockets with one pocket and a stitch marker holder inside. This large Basket is ideal for storing several small projects or garments, organising all your notions and keeping next to your crafty spot at home.

The Making Kit comes in a letterbox sized box with the fabrics wrapped in tissue paper making it a lovely gift. All the materials cut to size and includes canvas, lining fabric (select your colour), iron on interfacing, a stitch marker holder, leather handles with ready made holes and two joining screws plus printed fabric for the inner and outer pockets. Plus a printed copy of the pattern.

The pattern is a 16 page booklet that is spiral bound with acetate covers on the front and back to keep it looking lovely as you work from it. Inside is a full list of material requirements and each step of the sewing has been photographed to give you clear instructions to follow. 

You will need to supply some basic sewing equipment such as sewing machine and basic notions such as thread, scissors, iron, tape measure, etc.

The final size of the Basket once made has a base of 11.5" wide by 5.5" in depth and 9" in height. 

This is for the Making Kit to come with printed pocket fabric as seen in the second image and a canvas with your choice selected in the drop-down box and you will have one pocket piece with a hare and one piece with either a fox or deer. (This is slightly different to ordering a Making Kit without printed fabric). The photos show a Basket made up in various canvas colours for reference. The images of colours in the photos are reference to the lining you can choose from, please enter your colour at choice in the 'Add a note for the seller…' box which appears when to you've added your item to the cart. If I don't receive a note or email within 1 hour of ordering referencing your order number, I will select a colour for you. Please choose and let me know your lining colour - Blue, Cerise, Gold, Green, Grey, Ivory, Orange and Red.

These Making Kits come with a copy of the printed pattern which is spiral bound and has clear acetate covers front and back to keep it looking lovely as you work from it.
